Chris
Chris is the animated host of Critical Thinking Weekly, with a habit of catching the pattern before anyone else in the room does. He's not there to hand viewers an answer — Chris teaches viewers how to think, not what to think, asking the question that gets them to their own answer instead of giving them his. Curious, unshaken, and a little relentless about following an idea to the end, he's built to be the guide this age group actually sits with.

Built by Impactful Pivots
Critical Thinking Weekly is the flagship series from Impactful Pivots, a studio built by practitioners in education, clinical social work, and youth program design — not a studio pitching deck. Impactful Pivots equips young people with the critical thinking, self-awareness, and tools they need to navigate life with agency, accountability, and purpose, through justice-centered, restorative-justice, solution-based programming for the communities too often left out of the conversation.
Where it started
Three co-founders — Jazmin Sharelle, Jasmin B., and Keima G. — spent decades between them in curriculum design, clinical social work, and the classroom before building this together as Impactful Pivots.
What we believe
Justice-centered, not punitive: accountability, repair, and long-term skill-building come first, and mental health is treated as an everyday skill — not a crisis response.
What we make
An animated series hosted by Chris, a companion curriculum, and cohort programming for the groups who bring CTW into their space.
Who it's for
Teens and young adults ages 14–23, and the youth spaces and institutions working to reach them — especially where supplemental education is hardest to come by.
